Cure for embarrassing stress incontinence and sexual problems in women

O-shot

The O-Shot® and G-Shot are procedures for addressing stress incontinence (the inability to control urination when sneezing, coughing, etc.) and restoring vaginal and clitoral sensation. They accomplish this by 1) (G-shot and O-shot®) thickening the tissue that surrounds the urethra (the opening through which urine is passed from the bladder) and supports the vagina, and 2) (O-shot® only) rejuvenating and enhancing the sensitivity of the vaginal and clitoral areas.

With age and childbearing, women tend to lose some muscle tone and subcutaneous tissue in the pelvic region. This can lead to loss of support for the urethra leading to inability to control leakage from the bladder, known as stress incontinence. While some exercises may help this situation, most women do not find them helpful. They are left with the unpleasant alternative of wearing pads.

The O-Shot® (much in the news lately) procedure uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from your own blood to help restore the integrity of the tissue around the urethra and bring the bladder outlet back under control. A pleasant side effect of this procedure is that the tissue surrounding the vaginal wall may also be stimulated to grow, which results in tightening of the vagina and improvement in sexual sensation. In addition a small amount of PRP is injected under the clitoris, which also helps restore sensation in that area.

The procedure is done by anesthetizing the vagina and clitoris and then injecting the PRP carefully at the appropriate places with a fine guage needle. It takes about 30 minutes to perform and you can go back to your daily activities immediately afterwards.

In the G-shot, hyaluronic acid filler is injected in the area of the G-spot. This also tightens the vagina and supports the urethra, but not as well as the O-shot®. The G-shot seems to enhance the sexual exprience only in those women who have a sensitive G-spot.

Drs. Harrison and Andrew have been trained by Dr. Charles Runels, the originator, in the technique of the O-Shot®. However, they have updated the procedure since then and now call it "Rejuvavag".

Our doctors will be happy to perform an initial consultation. If they determine that you are not a candidate for the Rejuvavag procedure they will be pleased to offer an alternative treatment or refer you to a competent specialist who can handle your needs.
